Over the last few weeks Logan has become quite the artist. He loves to color and draw pictures. He'll spend literally hours drawing pictures at the table. I love it. So the other day he was sitting at the table coloring when I told him about how much I loved to color as a child. I told him that our neighborhood grocery stores would have coloring contests for the children. I entered one and won five dollars. "Five thousand dollars!?!" he said. "No Logan, five dollars." Suddenly not as impressed he said, "Oh...cool." Here he is doing his thang...
Here is a picture he drew of a sea monster, pretty good huh!
This one he drew up at the lake for his cousin Samantha, it was a fairy princess standing under a rainbow. Look at the details, she has wings and ear rings. I especially love the sun's smilely face.
I don't want you to think I have forgotten Ben so here is a picture of him eating a blue popsicle. He really loves those blue popsicles.

I love the drawings! It's great to see what details they notice and include in them. Hopefully you can come up with a contest with a good enough prize for him to enter!
Too cute! Isaac has really gotten into coloring too. Isn't it fun to see the little details that they pick up on?
You know, Ben is quite the little artist as well! Today in nursery he made a cute drawing and didn't even eat one crayon this time! Logan must be teaching his little brother well.
awww. you have the cutest kids ever.
Those pictures of Logan's are frameable! Those would be so cute in his room. Wes was always good at drawing. Maybe he got it from his dad. Have him draw one for Carter of pirate. He would flip.
Logan - Grandma loves it when you draw, and you colored some beautiful pictures lately that you have shared. I kept one from the lake, and I love it. You got that ability from you mom AND your dad, I think.
Love, G'ma Sheriee
His drawings are great! Don't you love it when they find something to entertain them for a while...and the bonus with drawings is that you have a treasured keepsake. Keep it up, Logan!
Spencer still remembers sitting on the front porch of our old house, eating a green popsicle when he was 2. Just ask him.
I love his art work. You really need to frame some of those for his room.
