Well at least Jason had enough sense to get out of a love-less or confusing relationship before he actually married her. I think ABC is the real bad guy here. Here's my letter:
Dear ABC,
Tonight's show was proof that you are insane to put pressure on people to fall in love and propose marriage in a matter of weeks. It is really impossible to know someone well enough to know if you love them or not in that short of time, especially in an artificial setting with cameras rolling and the whole world watching. And shame on you for making us watch that painful, emotional breakup tonight. Don't MOST of your "engagements" end in break ups? And you allow them the dignity to break up in private. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves. It's all about ratings. I am not sure if I can even watch another episode if you exploit people's emotions and turn us all into voyeurs.
Who's Jason? JK-I am aware of the bachelor, I just don't watch. I swore off "dating" shows after I lost half my brain cells with the extremely frustrating, "Joe Millionaire." What was I thinking!
So what really happened in a nut shell? He just chose the wrong girl?
Oh and don't think that I'm above reality TV-my latest is The Amazing Race.

So I read your blog and had to look up what happened on youtube. How sad, it was. I feel so bad for Melissa. Oh, the things that television will do to get ratings high.
Any show that thinks they can make people fall in love in weeks is defet not "reality" but we do love to watch it :(

Amen Sista!! I can't believe they made him break up with her on TV. How humiliating for poor Melissa. I can't believe they drug that show on for 3 hours the first night and then another hour the next night. I did enjoy watching the season though.
