Oh the memories...

Hayley, loved the idea. Hope you don't mind me stealing.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Not at all. I stole it from about 5 other bloggers I know. My memory is when I came up to Rexburg to visit Wes when I was about to graduate HS and I stayed with you and your roommates, and I thought you all were crazy! I had a blast, though. Plus, I got to share your twin-sized bed with you (and you snored :)
p.s. Have you read Sheena's new post about Twilight? Spence and i got a good laugh over her comment about him eating a cherry popsicle.

I remember when your family had a big family reunion at your house. We came out to stay. We arrived really late at night but you guys were all up waiting for us. As soon as we pulled into the drive way we saw you peeking through the blinds. (I also have lots of memories of sleeping next to you while you snored!)

Oh, I just remember a memory about when I came to stay with you when I was about 13. We played lots of supernintendo and farfignugen. We also made lots of crafts and knickknacks. That was a fun vacation! We had a blast!

I remember we came out for your graduation and I slept in your room and your alarm clock kept going off for like an hour, it was driving me crazy, and you just splept right through it.

Just to clarify things...when I was in college I had my tonsils removed therefore clearly up my snoring problem.

Hi Kayla, (hope you don't mind me posting a story about Kayla on your blog, Kate!) I remember when you (Kayla) were at the family reunion and were playing with the phone. You called 911. They called us back and asked what the emergency was. Boy, were you in trouble!

I remember when you were about 15 and you asked Dad and I if you could go to the mall to get a second ear piercing. We said no. You showed up at a church party that night with a second piercing. I was so mad. I asked why you had someone pierce your earsagainst our wishes, and you told me that you had done it yourself. Yes, you put an ice cube on your ear lobe, then stuck a big fat needle in your own ear. Dad and I both agreed that if you wanted it that badly, then you deserved it.

I remember when you first came to our home in Sugar Land with Wes, and you were so quiet and quite shy with us. I went upstairs to say "goodnight" and make sure you didn't need anything. You and Wes were laying on one of the bed, with photo albums all around you, sound asleep. Of course you were still in your street cloths and on top of the covers - just so no one misunderstands. I remember looking at you and thinking that you all made a pretty handsome couple, and I was pretty darn sure you were going to be my daughter-in-law and I was happy about that. Of course, you are beautiful, inside and out. I have many, many wonderful and happy memories now. You are awesome Kate. Love, Sheriee

the first time we talked on the phone you said something like, "so you guys are engaged, you know he's weird, right?"

ok, so i have to narrow it down to one. I actually found the pictures to this memory the other day and i just laugh. Junior High days- we were in your room and we draped a pink sheet over your day bed and we had a little photo shoot. we curled our hair with a really small curling iron and put on beautiful makeup. and then we proceeded to pose with like a dried rose. it was pretty much cheesy!!! but talmage likes to look at the pictures! also, i was kate's college roomate, so trust me, i can attest to the snoring. if she went to bed before me, i would hurry and wake her up a bit so the snoring could stop and i could fall asleep. but it really did get better once the tonsils were out. thank goodness!!! love ya kate!
