Dinner Time at our House

So it's a quarter to 6 and I am just starting to think about dinner. I had planned to make fajitas, but for one reason or another the chicken didn't get thawed and honestly, it just doesn't sound good to me. I'm looking around the kitchen frantically for something to make and Logan says to me in all seriousness, "Mom, how about we have chips for dinner." If only it was that easy.

I hate that. I swear, I don't start thinking about dinner until the last minute, then I'm stressed out trying to do like 10 things at a time to get it on the table. I usually get like 1/2 of it done before Spence gets there then I can do the rest when he gets home and takes the kids off of my hands.
Are you getting pumped for your run? There's an Easter 5k I think I'll do in March. Not quite as difficult as a half marathon. I've been struggling with running (and working out all together). I've hit a no-motivation point for the first time in a long time. Yikes. I make myself do it, though. Good luck with running!

Kate, Wes, and boys - If you will drive to grandma's house soon she will make a wonderful dinner and share lots of new recipes - sounds like a deal to me....

Once I fixed caramel popcorn for dinner. You can do that when the kids are gone. Just a little something to look forward to.

I've checked your blog every day for a week now only to be disappointed that there was nothing new. Write something!!

My girls are the same way, they would be content with cheetos, juice, and cheese sandwhiches every night for dinner!
